Finloness - how it all started
What is all this and why are we doing it? In 2020, we decided to go traveling for a longer period of time. We'd had the idea of moving to northern Sweden for a while, but out of the blue? That would be difficult. We thought a trip through Europe would consolidate our ideas. The result was "Finloness (Finding Ecological Business)". Our concept of searching.
From Croatia via Slovenia to Poland
Sea, sun, a feeling of lightness, a good atmosphere and always something going on. That's how our first few months in the bus began. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what we were looking for. Faster than expected, we started to roll up Sweden from the bottom and zigzag through the country. We soaked up and analyzed every town, every municipality, every region.
How alone is lonely?
Less is more - and suddenly we were there
We knew Arjeplog from before, but living here? That's something else. 0.2 inhabitants per km2, that's not much. Aren't you alone there? Yes, you are, but being alone doesn't mean being lonely. We were quickly captivated by this untouched landscape and everything made sense.
Less infrastructure definitely offers more for us. says Johannes
We've been here since February 2022 and are happy for anyone who dares to try something different. We have found that courage pays off.
